Vincent P. Browne Joins the Gibbons Employment & Labor Law Group

Gibbons P.C. is pleased to announce that Vincent P. Browne has joined the firm as a Director in the Employment & Labor Law Group. His practice focuses on employment law compliance, dispute resolution, and corporate investigations.
Mr. Browne is a trusted advisor on sensitive employment law matters, complex human resources issues, and innovative diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. He has significant experience in all aspects of employment law and particular knowledge in the financial services industry. He is well-versed in employee separation programs, compensation and benefits, worker classification, anti-discrimination and whistleblowing laws, corporate investigations, litigation and arbitration, and wage and hour laws. In addition to counseling clients on complex employment law matters, Mr. Browne is available to assist parties as a neutral mediator or arbitrator.
Mr. Browne joins Gibbons from The Prudential Insurance Company of America, where, for over a decade, he served as the Chief Legal Officer, Employment and Labor, for the company and its parent, affiliates, and subsidiaries. In this role, he led the Employment and Labor, ERISA, Immigration, Employment Law Investigations, Employee Benefits, and Equality/Affirmative Action law functions.
Immediately prior to joining Prudential, Mr. Browne was Senior Deputy General Counsel and Managing Director at UBS, where he led the Employment Law practice for the UBS Wealth Management Americas Division. In that capacity, he counseled business leaders and human resource professionals on employment law compliance, oversaw a nationwide employment law litigation docket, and served on the Management Committee of the Global Employment Law Department.
Before UBS, Mr. Browne was a partner in private practice, where he represented employers in all matters arising out of the employment relationship
Mr. Browne earned his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and holds a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Rutgers University. He is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts in New Jersey and New York.
