Gibbons P.C. associates Yolanda J. Bromfield, in the Commercial & Criminal Litigation (CCL) Group, and Robert F. Hagans, III, in the Products Liability Group, have been asked to join The National Black Lawyers (NBL) Top 40 Under 40. Both were invited by the NBL’s selection committee to be members of the organization’s elite network of African American attorneys, based on their legal success and professional reputations in New Jersey. NBL members are plaintiff and defense lawyers specializing in a range of practice areas and representing law firms, government agencies, nonprofits, and academia.
Ms. Bromfield returned to the firm earlier this year after clerking for the Honorable Jessica S. Allen, U.S.M.J. in the District of New Jersey. As a Gibbons CCL attorney, Ms. Bromfield is involved in white collar criminal defense, business litigation, and civil litigation, representing clients in state and federal courts. She is a member of the firm’s E-Discovery Task Force as well.
“I am honored to be recognized by The National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 and share this acknowledgement with the firm, which has provided me with invaluable mentorship and opportunity,” remarked Ms. Bromfield.
Mr. Hagans joined Gibbons in May 2021. He represents clients nationwide in a variety of complex civil litigation matters, including mass tort, products liability, toxic tort, and general liability.
“I very much appreciate becoming a member of the NBL network and attribute the nomination in great part to the legal experience Gibbons has afforded me,” said Mr. Hagans.
“Yolanda and Bobby bring unwavering commitment and immense talent to Gibbons. We are fortunate to have them at the firm and congratulate them on their NBL recognition,” said Executive Chairperson Patrick C. Dunican Jr.
Managing Director Peter J. Torcicollo added, “We are so pleased that Bobby and Yolanda have received this well-deserved distinction. Their inclusion in NBL’s Top 40 Under 40 speaks volumes about their accomplishments in the field.”
