Stephanie Torres Joins the Gibbons Employment & Labor Law Group

Gibbons P.C. is pleased to welcome Stephanie Torres to the firm as an associate in the Employment & Labor Law Group, resident in the Newark office. She brings to Gibbons valuable experience representing management, corporate executives, and municipal entities in negotiations, litigations, and investigations.

Ms. Torres was most recently an associate with Carmagnola & Ritardi, LLC, in Morristown, New Jersey, where she handled matters involving claims pursuant to the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, and Americans with Disabilities Act, among other protection laws. Ms. Torres conducted legal research and analysis, managed written discovery, prepared deposition outlines and exhibits, conferred with opposing counsel, and drafted memoranda, pleadings, motions, and appeals.

Prior to Carmagnola & Ritardi, Ms. Torres completed a judicial clerkship for the Honorable Lisa Rose in the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division, in Jersey City, New Jersey. Her background also includes serving as a law clerk at Chasan Lamparello Mallon & Cappuzzo in Secaucus, New Jersey. Additionally, she interned for the Honorable John Michael Vazquez in the United States District Court, District of New Jersey, in Newark.

Ms. Torres earned her J.D., cum laude, from Seton Hall University School of Law and her B.A., magna cum laude, from Seton Hall University. She is admitted to practice in the state of New Jersey and U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey.
