Keara E. Walsh Joins Gibbons Employment & Labor Law Group

Gibbons P.C. is pleased to welcome Keara E. Walsh to the firm as an associate in the Employment & Labor Law Group, resident in the Newark office. Ms. Walsh will be working on a range of employment issues, concentrating on both employment litigation and counseling matters.

Ms. Walsh was previously an associate at Connell Foley LLP in Roseland, New Jersey, where she honed her litigation skills handling discovery processes, providing client representation in court proceedings – including mandatory, non-binding arbitration – and negotiating settlements. She also conducted legal research and drafted pleadings, motions, and briefs for a variety of civil litigation matters.

Her background also includes both a judicial clerkship and judicial internship with the Honorable Thomas M. Moore, P.J. (Ret.), Superior Court of New Jersey, Law Division, Civil Part. As a law clerk, she drafted memoranda and statements of reasons for complex employment, commercial, and other civil litigation, and mediated Special Civil Part cases. As an intern, she researched and analyzed employment law matters involving claims of retaliation, hostile work environment, and disparate treatment.

Mr. Walsh holds a J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law, where she was Articles Editor of the Seton Hall Legislative Journal and a member of the Moot Court Board, and a B.A. in International Studies with a concentration in Economics from Boston College. She is admitted to practice in the state of New Jersey.
