Gibbons Real Property Group Welcomes Alexander J. Morgenstern

Gibbons P.C. is pleased to announce that Alexander (“A.J.”) Morgenstern has joined the firm as an associate in the Real Property Group, resident in the Newark office. His practice concentrates on land use, zoning, real estate development, affordable housing, and related litigation.

Mr. Morgenstern was previously an associate at Beattie Padovano, LLC in Montvale, New Jersey, in the firm’s Land Use and Environmental Law Group. His practice focused on representing developers, commercial clients, and residential clients before planning and zoning boards in connection with development and permit applications, as well as litigating a variety of complex land use and zoning matters. Mr. Morgenstern also litigated real estate tax appeals in the Tax Court of New Jersey on behalf of commercial and residential clients.

Before joining Beattie Padovano, Mr. Morgenstern practiced law in New York, where he acted as corporate counsel for the boards of cooperative corporations and condominium and homeowner associations. He also represented clients in real estate transactions in New York City and Westchester.

Mr. Morgenstern earned his J.D. from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Political Science from Boston University. He is admitted to practice in the states of New Jersey and New York and the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
