Gibbons Participates in Suits For Success Clothing Drive

Gibbons is proud to be a contributor to Suits For Success, a clothing drive sponsored by the Essex County Bar Association. Suits For Success is a charitable organization that provides professional attire to those in need who are seeking employment.

Employees at Gibbons donated hundreds of items for the clothing drive, including men’s and women’s suits, blazers, shirts, shoes, and accessories. This clothing drive was supported through the firm’s community outreach program “Gibbons Cares,” through which the firm donates more than $1 million annually, as well as extensive pro bono service, to these efforts, tackling issues of national and statewide magnitude while simultaneously devoting serious volunteer attention to local communities.

Founded in 1999, Suits For Success was originally established as Dress for Success Jersey City, NJ with the goal to offer professional attire to low-income women living in Jersey City. A high demand for similar services for local males prompted the organization to expand services, and in 2009, the organization changed their legal name to “Suits for Success, Inc.”
