Gibbons P.C. Promotes Three Associates to Director

Gibbons P.C. is pleased to announce that Kelsey A. Ball, Cassandra J. Neugold, and Myriam Rastaetter have been promoted to the position of Director, effective January 1, 2025.

Ms. Ball is a member of the firm’s White Collar & Investigations Group. She handles a wide range of complex commercial and criminal litigation matters in both state and federal courts throughout New Jersey and New York. From 2020-2022, she served as an Assistant Prosecutor in the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office. In that capacity, she drafted legal documents and briefs in connection with a vast array of criminal law issues and frequently appeared in court on behalf of the state of New Jersey for various criminal proceedings, including trial. Ms. Ball also previously served as Special Deputy Attorney General/Acting Assistant Prosecutor in the Union County Prosecutor’s Office.
A member of the Employment & Labor Law Group, Ms. Neugold focuses her practice on employment litigation, with an emphasis on discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and whistleblower matters, and also regularly handles employment and Title IX investigations. She represents companies in a range of industries in connection with workplace-related litigation and assists clients through all phases of complex litigation. She is Co-Chair of the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association’s Amicus Committee and also serves as Co-Chair of the National Association of Women Lawyers’ (NAWL) Women in Employment Law Affinity Group. Ms. Neugold is included on the NAWL 2023 “NAWL Rising” list and is recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America, 2025 edition, in the Labor and Employment Law – Management category.
Ms. Rastaetter is a German- and U.S.-trained lawyer in the Gibbons Corporate Group. She practices in all aspects of general corporate law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, and has extensive experience in both domestic and cross-border corporate transactions for clients ranging from family-owned businesses to large international groups. She counsels U.S. and foreign companies (many of which are from Germany, Austria, or Switzerland) on a variety of commercial legal issues, including company formations, negotiations of commercial contracts, and corporate governance matters. In addition, Ms. Rastaetter is the supervisor of Gibbons’s Foreign Legal Internship Program.
