In this session, the panel – Gibbons’ Mark Sidoti and Chris Strate, joined by Paul Neale, CEO of DOAR, Inc. and President of WIT Legal, and Mike Connelly, VP of Operations at WIT – will discuss the strategic use of expert testimony in general business and IP litigation, and how proper expert witness selection can become the most important factor in increasing the odds of success in complex and highly contested matters. .

Drawing on their experience in recent cases, Mark and Chris will offer their insights on how properly qualified experts can turn the tide in scientifically complex cases and IP litigation, as well as the factors that should be considered when vetting experts, including the pros and cons of prior expert experience, testimonial track record, jurisdictional considerations, jury appeal, and other matters.
