Speaker, New Jersey Attorney General’s Advocacy Institute: The Division of Law 2024 In-Service, "Civility and Professionalism in the Practice of Law: A View from the Bench"

Judges interact with a large number of attorneys in a multitude of matters. They are uniquely qualified to identify best practices for professionalism that attorneys should follow to comply with the Rules of Professional Conduct. This panel of judges, facilitated by Division of Law Director Michael T.G. Long, will discuss their perspectives on civility in the practice of law. They will illustrate behaviors to emulate and pitfalls to avoid, offering examples and insight from their experience on the bench.
