Stephen J. Marietta

Associate, Business & Commercial Litigation

Mr. Marietta focuses his practice on civil and criminal litigation and government investigations, with a concentration on trial- and appellate-litigation strategy, as well as pro bono matters. He has represented multinational corporations in all facets of litigation, including motion practice, depositions, trials, and appeals, and helped manage government investigations of clients in cutting-edge industries, such as cryptocurrency and electric vehicles. In addition, he serves as the Director of Rutgers Law School’s appellate-advocacy program and teaches constitutional law at Seton Hall University.

Mr. Marietta is a former law clerk to the Honorable Gregory A. Phillips, United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, and the Honorable Michael A. Shipp, United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. During law school, he proudly served as the Editor-in-Chief of Volume 69 of the Rutgers University Law Review. He also interned for the Honorable Esther Salas, United States District Court, District of New Jersey; the Honorable José L. Linares, United States District Court, District of New Jersey; and the Honorable Jaynee LaVecchia, New Jersey Supreme Court.
