Mr. Garcia is an associate in the Business & Commercial Litigation Group. He joins the firm with substantial law clerk experience, having completed clerkships in the Superior Court of New Jersey’s Chancery and Appellate Divisions, and, most recently, the New Jersey Supreme Court. At the latter in particular, he honed his legal skills by preparing in-depth preliminary research and bench memoranda on novel questions of public importance. While clerking in the Appellate Division, he submitted memoranda on issues of civil, criminal, and administrative law. While clerking at the trial level, he focused on matters of general equity and gained invaluable insight researching, analyzing, and calendaring motions for emergent injunctive relief. His experience includes work on contractual disputes, restrictive covenants, noncompete clauses, real property interests, and commercial and residential real estate foreclosures.
Mr. Garcia completed judicial internships for the Honorable Noel L. Hillman (Ret.), in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the Honorable Terry P. Bottinelli (Ret.), in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, Family Part. He also interned for the Waterfront Commission of New York Harbor.
