Mr. Harris is a Director in the firm’s Employment & Labor Law group. He has more than 25 years of experience litigating complex and commercial matters on behalf of companies and their representatives in employment related matters before state and federal courts and in arbitrations. His cases involve matters ranging from the Law Against Discrimination, CEPA, employment agreements and restrictive covenant claims, to the protection of trade secrets and other confidential and propriety information, such as client lists, sales strategies, and pricing information. Mr. Harris also has experience litigating cases involving employers’ electronic-communications policies and is well-versed in the potential ethical issues that can arise in e-discovery when representing employers in such matters.
In addition to his employment law experience, Mr. Harris has significant experience handling complex cases that involve other substantive areas of law, including contracts, business disputes, real estate, and professional negligence involving significant e-discovery. Mr. Harris is currently a member of the Gibbons E-Discovery Task Force.
