Gibbons Director Presented with Stivale D’italia Award of Excellence Plaque

Peter J. Torcicollo, a Director in the Business & Commercial Litigation Department at Gibbons P.C., was recently honored by The Italian Voice newspaper with its Stivale D’Italia Award of Excellence.
The Italian Voice newspaper was founded in 1932 and is circulated in both the United States and Italy, with readers in New York, New Jersey, Rome, Naples, and Palermo. The Stivale D’Italia Award of Excellence is given in recognition of honoree’s professional achievements and their commitment to Italian heritage and culture.
At Gibbons, Mr. Torcicollo is the Team Leader for the firm’s Construction Law & Litigation practice and newly formed Data Privacy and Security Task Force. His construction practice typically involves representing owners, developers, contractors, and sub-contractors in construction matters, including contract counseling and all facets of construction disputes. He also represents clients in a wide variety of business litigation matters, including minority shareholder and contract disputes. As Director of Professional Development, Recruiting, Associate Retention, and Lateral Hiring, he has directed the firm’s recruiting and professional development initiatives since 2003. He also serves as a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. Mr. Torcicollo earned his JD from Rutgers University School of Law – Newark and his BA from Bucknell University.
